Title: Walnut Sauce [Georgian]

Yield: 1 Servings

3/4cWalnuts, ground
4 Garlic cloves, minced.
1smOnion, minced.
3tbCoriander, fresh, finely chopped.
1/2tsCoriander seeds, -OR- crushed,
1/4tsCoriander, ground -OR-
1pnCayenne
1/4tsFenugreek, ground.
1 1/2tbVinegar, tarragon
3tbWater
  Salt, to taste.
  Pomegranate seeds, -OR-
  Walnut pieces, -OR- for garnish.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

To serve, spread the on a plate and smooth the top with a spatula. With a knife, make a pattern of diamonds in the top and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds, if available, or with walnut pieces.

Serves 4 to 6.
